June 2021 Phenomenon

On a clear and sunny day in June 2021, North of 60, we were treated to an unusual spectacle.

This picture doesn’t do it justice. The show lasted an hour or so, and it consisted of multiple

interconnected rings, rainbows and a couple of fast moving objects.

It was a thought-provoking out of the blue summertime phenomenon.

In winter, it is common in the North to see a uniform halo and sundogs surrounding the Sun.
