Who I Am
My name is Gertjan van Delft, an independent explorer with a lifelong passion for patterns in numbers,
geometry, nature, and the cosmos.
Since 2006, I've been collecting observations on this site — pidigits.ca — starting with simple curiosities
about π digits and growing into broader connections between mathematics, ancient monuments, physics
constants, and scripture.
I have no formal academic background in mathematics or physics — just curiosity, patience, and a belief
that the universe is full of hidden harmony waiting to be noticed.
What Drives Me
I look for order where others see randomness — primes aligning, circles squaring close to perfection, ratios
repeating in planets and spirals, numbers echoing in ancient texts.
These pages are my personal notebook: ideas to share freely, question openly, and hold lightly.
"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
The Site
Pidigits.ca is a quiet corner of the internet for wonder — no ads, no agenda, just patterns.
If something here sparks thought, try it yourself and share it.
Thank you for visiting.
